Did you go to school for personal training?
Yes! I graduated Kent State University in May of 2018. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science. My concentration was Exercise Science. So I pretty much studied the human body & what exercise can do for the body for 4 years.
Are you certified?
Yup! I became certified as a personal trainer in August of 2017 through ACSM. ACSM stands for American College of Sports Medicine. It is clinically based & focused on how to get individuals healthy. For example; using fitness & nutrition to lower your blood pressure or Type II diabetes.
Why did you choose ACSM for your certification?
Because it’s clinically based. Most certs are either clinically based or performance based. I’m confident with the performance aspect of fitness because I grew up an athlete. I played sports majority of my childhood & have been coached by outstanding coaches that have taught me a lot about weight room & sports performance. I wanted to expand my expertise & challenge myself to learn something that I wasn’t familiar with. So, I chose ACSM!
Why did you become a Personal Trainer?
I was in a low state in my life & fitness helped me get out of that. I’ll spare you the details, but I made it my mission to help change as many lives as possible using fitness. I know what fitness can do for you physically, but more importantly, mentally & I want to stress the importance of what health & fitness can do for you.
How much do you charge for Personal Training?
$45/half hour session

Fitness is my passion & I have a goal to help change as many lives as possible using fitness. I want to make a difference in this world & the best way I could think of doing so is through APT.
